FIRE JOE MORGAN

Where Bad Sports Journalism Came To Die

FJM has gone dark for the foreseeable future. Sorry folks. We may post once in a while, but it's pretty much over. You can still e-mail dak, Ken Tremendous, Junior, Matthew Murbles, or Coach.

Cincinnati's Loss is America's Gain

Our condolences to Cincinnati. You just got a whole lot of Jeff Brantley added to your life. Brantley's going to be doing Reds games on radio and TV. On the very bright side, this means he's leaving ESPN.

Also, there's this confusing arrangement:

Marty Brennaman will continue calling the first, second, fifth, sixth, eighth and ninth innings on the radio.

His son, Thom Brennaman, and Brantley will handle the radio play-by-play during the third, fourth and seventh innings when they're in the booth.

What?

Anyway, Reds fans, you can take a look at the bleakness of your future here, here and here.
