Gil had three errors in the series at Toronto from 4/27/01 - 4/29/01.<BR/> <BR/>However,<BR/> <BR/>(a) No unearned runs were scored in the series, and<BR/>(b) Elliott is not quite correct when he states "(w)hen the Angels returned to the West Coast, Eckstein was named the starting shortstop". In fact, in their first game back, on 5/1/01, Eckstein played 2nd base.
